SAVE IT FOR THE NEXT LIFE (2021)
SAVE IT FOR THE NEXT LIFE is a version of my family’s Buddhist altar. In place of traditional food offerings for ancestors, I created a table to celebrate acts of self- and communal-care by placing images of food I have consumed alone or with others. The table is made of parts from a repurposed plexi shelf, and the tablecloth consists of archival sleeve protectors sewn together with clear thread.
